i still believe in marriage. i really think it's about finding that someone you are compatible with and trust.

Jaded but hopeful. I'd like to think of "rest of my life"... but I've seen some of the dark side come out... I'm not sure.

Here is a funny vid for u all! http://youtube.com/watch?v=Tx1XIm6q4r4

I haven't sworn off marriage since I would still like to have more children. I know that I don't need to be married in order to have children but that is what I would prefer.

i don't trust myself around men period right now...let alone be able to marry again....some guy bought me flowers the other day and now i never want to speak to him again...damn these issues!

Guess not....

marriage is too hard to get back out of again.
I don't think I want to be tied down again.
I'm too much of a free spirit.

I've come close to marrying again, and looking back, I'm glad I didn't. But being in love has a way of changing everyone's opinion, and now, I'm a firm believer in really loooonnng, engagements. (2years of dating and a minimum of 2 years of being engaged). Just for the simple fact that sometimes, it takes a lot of time for some differences to reveal themselves, and for people to find out whether or not they can live with those differences. Marriage, and sharing your life and home with someone, is never the same as dating that person.

overrated
and people aren't taking it too serious any more or women gotten smarter and won't be housewife anymore or take crap from men anymore.
before the woman will stay in the marriage no matter what. even if she is unhappy she feel that she had no choice but staying with her husband even if he cheat on her billion times or bit her up or even abuse her, or tells her to leave she will be there for him will stay in it.
but as the years goes by women have learn to be happy and won't take crap from men anymore and I THINK THAT CAN BE A REASON WHY MARRIAGE FAIL. you can think about it and you will see that my answer make sense.

It take women to stay in a long time relationship but it take a man to not follow the rule so now may women refuses to follow the rule and want to be happy like men.

The reason many fail is because too often one tried to 'compete' the marriage rather than 'complete' it. You must remember that you're always on the same team. I've taken more than one walk down the aisle, but knowing what I know now, I should have seen the writing on the wall with the first two....third time is definitely the charm...and last...lol.

I just want to take things really slow, I have two kids to think about ,who would want to help with someone else kids, but it's just me

I'm not opposed to marriage.I just feel like if I marry again it won't be for at least 6-10 years or maybe never. The first time I married an abusive, controlling man who cheated, that I never truly loved, and I was 18.We divorsed when I was 21,and we had 2 year old son together. He lives in California and has remarried and has a daughter, and he's seen his son once in over six years. My son is 13 now.My second husband was a controlling alcoholic that I did truly love, but I realized he was never going to change so I left with our daughter who 4 at the time. Now she's 5 1/2.I just feel like if I ever get married again that it will be the last time, and he will be someone who not only loves me,but my kids also.
