i would have to agree with the over-usage of the word love.. but i look at parents who have been in love and married for 37 years, i believe in love!

I got very friendly with a person recently and this friendship means more to me than any love I have ever felt for anyone. I would say its more meaningful than love. Why because there is nothing sexual about the relationship at all. Just a deep emotion of fun and laughter.

I am very much in love and have been for about 7-8 years, married for the last 2+ years.
I know it's love because I miss him when he's not around, he's a wonderful lover, my best friend, a good listener, I can tell him anything, he spoils me like I spoil him, he loves me for who I am (not my weight, dress size, etc) and I still, after all these years, get that funny feeling when we snuggle and touch. And I am all these things to him too. We were friends for years before we became lovers, so we had a very solid foundation to build on and I think that's why it works so well for us. Plus....we've both been through bad experiences and we know what we want and when we realized it was each other, we made sure we hung on tightly.
We tell each other "I love you" all the time and I never feel that we over-use it. If it is said from the heart, and you really mean it, then it's not over-used and meaningless.
