That's a really good question... there are definate similarities! However I don't think I'd put cream cheese on a saltless pretzel.
Not too sure, but I will put cream cheese on my next unsalted pretzel and let you know what it tastes like
I never thought about that. Hmm... I don't think so though, because even if a pretzel doesn't have salt on it, it's still sort of salty. And just overall, it has somewhat of a different taste.
I think they're cousins, though.
