Will they ever outlaw perfume?!

Question: in public places like they have smoking?

It's only fair for crying out loud....I wanted to light up so bad Sat. night and blow it on the neck of the lady in front of me....just so she would smell better.

Oh yeah... I just love a big whiff of that stuff.... hack..ack, I can't breathe!!!!!!

I doubt it.

I wish they would!

I totally agree with you. Some of those ladies must marinate in the stuff-and it's never a really good smelling type either!

I'd love it if they did! I'd breathe better!

No,but I definitely think it should be banned for people over 65.

It would be hard. But I could see it happen or at least be banned in certain situations. I cannot sing as well when someone is wearing heavy perfume. It inhibits my breath control because I can't take as deep a breath as I would like.

But, at least perfume does not cause cancer.

Pam

No. Because then they would have to outlaw deodorant such as Axe and tag for men... And then public places would probably get real stinky.

LOL! No, I do not think that perfume in public places will ever be outlawed.

I wish they would. I get migraine headaches from perfumes, so bad that I end up throwing up and sometimes they last for as long as 3 days. The cheaper the scent, the worse the headache. And those people who dump bottles of it on themselves--why not just BATHE????

Some women blast you with too much. BUT if they outlaw my favorite scents then I will have no choice but to hit the Black Market!! Or the Underground world of Sachets!! (A potential female criminal)

Only the excessive use of it. You know what I mean. You walk past a woman and the strength of it makes you choke. It really makes you wonder if they bathed in it.

i can imagine! i don't smoke and the only reason i don't like people smoking is because my little ones play pretend, plus the smell sometimes makes me want to light up again. but i know what you mean about that perfume. of course i'm not too polite so if someone smells bad i'll tell them to either go heavier with it or leave some of the crap in the bottle next time, just depends on how they really smell and how sarcastic i want to be. i've actually told a couple before (i swear they smelled the same) that they needed to use separate colognes and make sure their shower is spitting water next time.

i know, so mean... but just think how many people bathe in perfume. yea, it should be outlawed in public places just as smoking.

Depends where you live i suppose. They have crimilized excessive perfumes in most government funded buildings in Canada, hospitals and schools, that sort. I see a lof of 'perfume free areas' stickers on businesses all over the place. The actual laws I don't know, but if they can make smoking illegal at dance clubs here I don't see it as all that far off to make perfumes illegal as well.

I hope not. I was taught the correct way to wear perfume. You wear it for yourself, not so that others around you can smell it. You also do not "bathe" in it.

And if you think cigarette smoke smells better than perfume, let me assure you--you are dead wrong. I am deathly allergic to cigarette smoke.

Our country is all messed-up lately (politically correct and all) that one never knows what will set-off someone.

LMAO that is funny!! I know what you mean. Damn some people lay the fume on too thick and soem of that perfume/cologne stinks!! my smoke smells much better that soem of that crap!

not much makes me gag except a woman or a man for that matter who goes heavy on the perfume/cologne....it's just downright nasty...makes me want to take a fire hose to them....
