I need help getting over last night...?!

Question: I got unbelievably drunk and first walked directly into a wall. Now I have a black eye and a bunch of cuts around my eye and all up my arm.
After that mishap, I went skinny dipping. Sadly I was the only one who did. Plus I just met the people that I was with and I don't know if I could ever face them again. I am so embarrassed. Usually, I crack the first joke at myself to show that I'm not bothered but it's not really working this time. I try to laugh it off and all, but I can't seem to get it out of my mind...

Any suggestions?

Act like it doesn't bother you around them. You were drunk (not sober) and we tend to do stupid things when we're drunk. For the future, you know what your limits are. I've gotten a concussion from losing my balance in a bathroom stall at a club and had to go to work with a black eye and a fat lip. I feel your pain.....

For future reference, never drink the punch.

Next time drink in moderation

Well... you were drunk. That's pretty much an acceptable excuse for doing something stupid as long as no one else got harmed in the process.

Yes. I have done that before.

Just forget about it. Dont rethink it or anything. Just forget about it and move on.

Chances are, next time it will be someone else being stupid, so, just move on. And if somebody gives you a hard time about it, joke with them. "Yeah, it was me this time, but next time it will be you!"

Just don't get that drunk. Decide while you are sober what your limit should be. The problem is, we get drunk & feel good, but then we keep on drinking & ruin the good feeling.

Another rule of thumb - drink at home, don't drink (more than 1 or 2 beers) when you're out. That keeps your car safe, too.

A Little Crazy? Alot I think! Ouch your head must hurt. Who cares what you did last night. In a week or two someone else will have behaved worse and your antics will be forgotten! Remember, a scandal always blows over and I know as I have had some nasties in my time!! Have an early night and stay off the booze for a bit. Take care x

umm you need to party with me lol....
Dont feel bad about it they probably just thought it was funny anyway
