we don't but if you go to the dollar store, you can buy a "whopping" 5 items :-)

A NICE SMALL BOX OF CHOCOLATE, EVERYBODY LOVE CANDY.

You could do a 5.00 blockbuster gift card, that will get at least one movie rental.

Two cans of smoked almonds (on sale). Nothing better.

I'm still trying to figure out what I should do with my last year 'bonus' of $20.00. Should I spend it or invest it?

Seriously companies, don't give anything if you can only give a $5.00 certificate. It makes you sound financially unstable.

Remember, it's the thought that counts!

i just found this ugly old ceramic tea kettle thing thats shaped like a winter cabin in a box in our basement. it's bad.. but not bad enough to give to some of the people i work with lol. i went to the store and bought hot cocoa packets and put them inside. i think it cost me 1.70 or so.. its cute tho.. i work with a bunch of old women. i think they'll love it..
lol..

Yes, and 5 cant even get you a bag of crap from www.woot.com

go to the dollar store or get a starbuck gift certificate

DO YOU KNOW THE PERSON ,ARE THEY A COLLECTOR OF ANY THING ? HIT THE DOLLAR STORES. IN A GIFT EXCHANGE ITS NOT THE AMOUNT OF MONEY OR AN EXPENSIVE GIFT THAT COUNTS. SOMETHING FUNNY ETC,THINK ABOUT THE PERSON ALWAYS.

Whenever I have something like that, I get things like a gourmet candy box in a nice tin or something, or some of those cheaper pre packaged gift packs you can find at some places like *arget. Considering it's work, you may try putting together something like a coffee mug with candy in or consider some desk item or something they could use at work. At some book stores, they have little books with interesting things in it, like minuture playing cards, or little (clean) joke books or maybe a gift card for a coffee place or smoothie place if you don't have time. Just some ideas.

Bring a funny gift. Like a sucker shaped like a nose or something else unexpected. Don't be pissy about it, just be thankful that they aren't asking you to spend a lot of money. Go to spencers or Hot Topic and pick out something funny or out of the ordinary.

Go to the Dollar Store, you can get candles(white,it will go with any ones decor), body cream(cocoa butter), a bag of potpourri(neutral scent),or just as many candles as you can buy,a package of five Trident sugarless gum ($1)take them out of the packaging wrap in saran wrap and tie with a red ribbon, see if you can buy a basket for a dollar( don't buy a big one, you want a small one so it looks like it really has a lot of things in it but will still hold the items you purchase) and then put four dollars of items in it, line the basket with red tissue paper and along the sides of the gifts stuff some red tissue as a filler, cover it all with saran wrap, put a red ribbon on top. You will have to wrap it so get some red Christmas wrapping paper.
