Split pea soup and pickled okra - yummy combination or just plain gross?!
Question: Sounds fine to me. The soup is sort of bland and the okra would perk up your mouth and give it something crunchy.

Stormy: Pickled okra is like pickled cucumbers or pickles. You find it where the pickles are kept. They are good.
Take away the okra and I would say yummy.

Ummmm, well I might eat split pea soup by itself and maybe TRY pickled okra, but not eat both together.

I like split pea soup. I think okra is a mistake or a plant world accident. Putting them together is just plain gross -- no, actually it's way fancy gross.
