Tests, not as frequently by a long shot, but still yes. My math teacher last year didn't care. Myself and a girl next to me worked together for a lot of tests.

Sometimes I do when i know that there wont be test on it or anything or if i dont like the class. Sometimes when you cheat you get screwed on the test.
