How long have you been married? I am surprised that you haven't figured out by now that you have to repeatedly remind most men about birthdays, anniversaries, and other special events. You also should teach your son the importance of remembering events so that his wife will be a step ahead of the game when he gets married. I am sure that it hurt you to be forgotten, but you also have to look at the big picture. Those kinds of things generally aren't as important to men as they are to women and I'm sure it wasn't done to deliberately hurt you.

Yes,one year.It was terrible.

My mother did when I was 6 years old. I havent forgotten to this day. But she made up for it the next day by giving me soo much more.

how sad!
im sorry.
no, my family has never forgotten.

no they have not HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY, wanted to tell ya now cuz i may forget

No Thank God it would upset me if they did

every year for the past 12

Happy Early Birthday to you.

Family no.

Work has twice and it is such a big deal about birthdays
here - i was quite pissed off.

Just start asking what they will do for you

^_^, guys are always forgetful, u know that, u will have to forgive him once in awhile

The then husband did it all the time, but when it came to his birthday and other things if I forgot, crap hit the fan !!!

Always. It is not important to us.

everytime... unbelieveable

oh yeah! my kids have, it's a pretty common thing with them, but they NEVER forget to let me know when there's is almost here. like i would even forget!

This past year all three of my brothers forgot my birthday. My hubby and kids didn't though, so that helped, but it really hurt me too that my family didn't remember. Especially since I make a point to call them and send them a card on their bd. :(

yep this year, i turned 20 on nov 27th, i had to call my family to remind them and they go "OHHHH MY GOD SORRY I FORGOT!" i hung up the phone and made sure that i didn't talk to them until they called me back.

No, never!

It's somewhat mitigated by the fact that your b-day is close to Christmas - there are other things to worry about at that time of year - but that's still not acceptable.

I'm sorry. I'm sure you do so much for them, and for them to forget like that...that's awful.

Happy (early) birthday to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never forgotten a holiday or anything.
I agree it is wrong.
My parents and the rest of my family have forgotten m y birthday 3x's...and I am only 15!
So its messed up

my family forgot that i exist they dont even return my calls ....

That's hard to do in this age of calenders everywhere........!!!

Awww... yes! My parents always call me every year on my Birthday to wish me a Happy Birthday and one year they forgot to call me because my brother was going out of town on the day of my Birthday. I was really sad that he was leaving, but it would have been nice to get acknowledgement still. But, my parents called me the next day and sincerely apologized and sang me Happy Birthday lol. I understood that they were busy helping my brother with packing and all, but I couldn't help but be a little hurt anyways.

My parents and siblings usually do "conveniently".....but my wife and kids always remember mine....and I theirs.

My mother celebrated my birthday a day too early and needed a moment to recall what day I was born.

My boyfriend threw a party for me on His Sisters birthday and totaly forgot about mine.

I forgot my birthday one year and about 3 weeks later it occured to me. Funny that nobody realized either.

3 times it's happened and well at this point in time I just find it funny.

No they have not................but sometimes I wish they would......lol

I forgot my birthday last year...but birthdays aren't that important to me.

No one can forget my birthday, its on Christmas Day, even if they wanted to they can't.. i am truely remembered somehow, even if someone out there hates me.

No, mine really sucks,,,, December 27Th
Nobody forgets it they just loop it in with Christmas or hey we are out of town , money have plans all ready,,,
Do I sound disappointed?????

Well yes - not often - more urgent matters creep up.
And I''m sorry I'm late myself.
