Has anyone else been drink driving accidentally...and i'm not talking beind !
Question: Yesterday I had half of a can of low % bourbon...it took me over half an hour to drink it, i'd had dinner AND it was two hours later.....i went for a drive down the road to the post office.
I totally forgot I even had that drink and i'm on a 0 drinks (haven't had license for long)
has anyone else had this happen??
I know it was stupid, but at least I wasn't blind drunk. AND, I definitely won't let it happen again (i wont be drinking during the week) It's the first drink i've had in agggges too.

Worst I've ever done is have 2 beers and drive... I definitely realized after I started driving that it was too much, too quick and drove the one block back to driveway.
I wasn't at all inebriated, BUT I could tell there was a difference.
Since then, my rule is, 0 drinks if I'm driving.

at least you know that is considered drunk driving - a lot of people think if theyre not blind drunk theyre not drunk - a buzz is driving drunk - hello you are uner the influence !!!

Conditioned states of learning is important.
That means your brain will perform tasks and processes better if it is in the same state that it was when you originally learned it. In other words, practice driving buzzed, and you will be better off if you accidentally are cruising around after downing a bottle of wine, three beers, and a shot.
Hence, you should practice driving sober, but you should also practice driving drunk. If this is intimidating, try it out in an empty parking lot.
Me, I drive after 26 top-shelf martinis, and although I may see double or triple, I still have the reflexes of a cheetah after about 34 martinis and the driving precision of a Nascar driver after 48 malt liquor beers.
Sure, your parents and school officials will try and put the fear of bojangles in you and say it is better to never get behind the wheel after any amount of alcohol.
And perhaps that's true. But let's be honest with ourselves. We all swig a half a can of low % bourbon now and then and "forget" we've consumed. So better to get your practice now! Be prepared!
