Here is Shilpa's Official Chicken Curry? Recipe.
Shilpa's Chicken Curry? Serves five people.
4 chicken breasts, diced
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
2 whole onions, finely chopped
4 fresh, big tomatoes, finely chopped
1 tbsp of cumin powder
1 tbsp of coriander powder
1.5 tbsp of garam marsala
2 bay leaves
Large chunk of fresh ginger, finely grated
Pinch of salt and pepper
Fresh, chopped coriander leaves for garnish
Now for my two secret ingredients - a small cup of milk and half a cup of tomato ketchup to make the curry sweeter.
Method
Wash the chicken breasts thoroughly - you don't want to be accused of trying to poison your guests! Fry chicken breast in the vegetable oil in a large pot, along with the onions, until the meat is browning. Ensure there is no pink meat left or else you will face Jade's wrath! Pour in the tomatoes and all other ingredients, except the milk, and stir until bubbling. Add the milk at the very end, and stir to warm. Serve with fluffy basmati rice and chopped coriander on top.
