Would you choose college over a relationship?!

Question: I'm in this situation right now.

I know what I have to do, but I've put so much time into the relationship that I don't want to end it, but we're not going to last 3 years apart.

I'm already in college, but I'm switching schools because the one I'm currently at is not working out for me.

Anyway back to the situation.
I need to be on campus. I am doing online right now and it's not working, so I applied to other schools for on campus. That means being away from my boyfriend who refuses to move. I moved 3 times for his career already but he refuses to return the favour. His career can easily go somewhere else, and he'd make better money somewhere else, but he won't. So I'm pretty sure I'm going to choose college over him.

It's a hard decision but my mom didn't go to college because a bf at the time told her not to, she said it was the biggest mistake of her life. I'd like to think I'm smart to learn from her mistakes.

In the end, I'm the only person who can decide but it's in my best interest to choose college. I can find a new bf who'll be more supportive of my decisions right?

Yes.

absolutely. always!! (unless its a marriage, thats a bit different) when u get outta college and are making the big bucks, they will come back around.

Yes,if the relationship is meant to be it will survive the test of time and an education is so important to your own self esteem and survival it takes priority..>=)

Ugh, I wish I did. I choose to stay close to home for college bc of my boyfriend at the time. I was unhappy at my college, broke up with him changed schools 3 times and it took 5 1/2 years to graduate! That was such a huge mistake!!

I would tell anyone and everyone that they should choose school over a relationship unless its a marriage-in which case I hope you have not gotten married right after highschool nowadays. Those are usually the marriages that end rather quickly!

Take a little advice from one who knows..........relationships will come and they will go. But education is "FOREVER"
If the other half of this relationship really cares they wouldn't even think of making you choose.......lol
hope this helped.......Have a very Merry Christmas/holidays

College-it's your better future

Relationships don't take you nowhere, not a good investment.
