What Do You Think Of MTV?!
Question: I think there are too many reality shows like "My Super Sweet 16" and "Made" and repeats of "America's Next Top Model". I think it should go back to music videos! Opinions?

Not as good as it used to be. I looked at my TV guide one day, and there was a total of 3 hours of music videos in the morning. All the rest was reality TV. What a waste.

i think it sucks. When it first started it was all videos all the time. now it is just like any other cable station.

I despise it. I think it's stupid. And the music they DO play, which is few and far between, is stupid, mainstream pointless music. And people swear up and down that that crap is good. Ugh. It's ruining not only our generation, but our music.
MTV is poopy. When MTV hit the airwaves, that was pretty much the parasite digging in to kill music. It has since died and been replaced entirely by the corporate parasite doppelganger of music that thrives on teeny-bopper allowance and birthday money. When Nirvana came out with "Smells Like Teen Spirit" in the early 90's, there was a brief period where life seemed to be returning -- like a defibrillator, and there was a heartbeat... but it was a false alarm. The heartbeat turned out to be the infectious rhythm of the Macarena, and despite his success, or maybe because of it, Kurt Cobain was dead. Now we have Disney soldiers making the music.
I think mtv should acually [play music ALL day like they used to, and not any of that "rap" crap, i want some sex pistols/adicts/misfits/the smiths/vapors. GOOD music.

Stopped watching it when they stopped playing music videos.
MTV is the cancer that is eating the minds and souls of americas youth. it give them totally unreasonable expectations of how life is supposed to be and makes them feel that if they dont measure up they a worthless.
