Mum and my dad have stopped smoking..but my mum just caught my dad!?!
Question: He doesnt know shes seen him. He was scraping the ice off his car at 7:30am, and saw it in his mouth. He then went to work but came back for his gloves because his hands were so cold. When he came back my mum was filling the washing machine in the kitchen and could smell it loadsa and he was acting suspiciously ans didnt even kiss her goodbye.
We have asked him a couple of times if he has but hes denied it and stuff. How can we confrunt him EVILYYY! ..We have an idea already...
Wait until he has an early shift at work again and record him doing it..then play it on christmas day!!

my mother in law claimed she had stopped, until we were following her in her car and saw puffs of smoke out of the passenger window. An immediate confrontation was the only way to go, cos then you can nag them to stop all you want.

well it seems that it's just your mum who's quit not your dad....seems e just don't have any willpower....just go to him and tell him that you know and he can't fool you...good for your mum for sticking to the plan...don't ruin his christmas day by showing him a tape of him smoking...just tell him that you know..then leave it up to him to decide if he still wants to smoke or not...quitting is a very hard task...

if the smoking is effecting his health then you guys should intervene. but, he's going to do it regardless, however recording it might make him a little more aware of how serious you guys are about him quitting smoking!
sorry think your evil, why and how could you even think of bringing your dad down on Xmas, with your plans, he will be in a mood and you will start a argument, some people can not quit smoking, he needs his family to help him not have a go at him if he as a relapse
just tell him that you know 100% he smokes and would he like to talk about it.
would he like to try a new way of stopping because the last failed.

My dad tried to stop loads of times but couldn't. He only tried to stop because he had huge health problems, but it was too late, he was hooked.
My mum knew he was still smoking but didn't know what to do about it so she went and asked the doctor. He told her that really she couldn't make him stop, but as long as he thought she didn't know he would have to do it secretly. That meant that he was smoking less than he would if she had confronted him and he'd admitted it and started smoking openly again. My mum's ploy was to make it as hard as possible for him to get his "crafty f ag" by enlisting our help to use spoiling tactics. If he decided he needed to "go out for some air" she would whisper to one of us kids to go with him and say we fancied a walk too. If he went to look at the car we were nudged to go and play in the street nearby. He probably only got to smoke half as many as he tried to.
Maybe confronting him will only make him start smoking openly again, so maybe it's best to just pretend you haven't found him out so at least he has had to cut down a lot.
My dad died when I was only little because he couldn't stop smoking so I know how hard and worrying it is. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose to do.

Doing it on christmas day may be a tad cruel funny but he may not see the funny side.
You have confronted him and he has denied it so he may well find it funny that he has been recorded and dead evidence as proof.
My nan smoked for years and one night she went to loo which was outside after a drink or two and come back covered in mud saying she had tripped. next morning we went to investigate said toilet and we found a nub end she had sat on loo and fell forward with it in her mouth. We had a good laugh about it after.

i dont think you should say anything because the more you go on about it the more he will want to smoke he needs to give up himself he needs to want to give up, every time i try give up the more people that went on about it just made me want to smoke again
Put a match in one of his ciggies - tip just under the end of the smoke so when he lights it, a big flame comes out
