OMG YES!!! My husband gets so mad at me when I give them to the kids too. I yell at the kids, usually from my bed "There's brownies on the counter" and go back to sleep for a while, until the screaming and fighting starts and I have to get up and mediate. My husband will start reciting the Bill Cosby skit "Chocolate cake, it's got milk, eggs, flour, Mom is great, she gives us chocolate cake!" He disapproves, but not enough to get up and make them eggs and pancakes! Saturday mornings are the only time we get to sleep in, so if they want brownies for breakfast and it keeps them quiet until 10am, I'm all good with it!! The can get nutritious food at dinner, and I do cook a good dinner every night with a salad, veggie, and some sort of entree that does not include chocolate until dessert at least!! : )
