I thought I hated them....until I was forced to go see Oklahoma for a class credit....(now I think I secretly love them)

they sing about EVERYTHING...
My stereo is a musical
I don't like them. They're annoying. They're also painfully unrealistic. How could you even imagine a bunch of tough gangsters singing and dancing choreographed like in West Side Story? Or Navy sailors doing the same on their ship like in another one? Come on!!!
Hate is a little strong. But I don't care for them. I just find all the unnecessary singing irritating. If singing fits with the story line or something like that then that's OK.
I can't say I hate musicals..but I just don't *get* them.
But i have seen the sound of music like 5 times (once being in french). and for some reason, if anyone sings one line of any of the songs now, i run.
i can't stand the sound of music anymore. I could stand the movie, minus the music tho..it had a great story.
explain my psyche? my psyche don't appreciate good music i guess..he does like nickleback and avril lavigne..maybe if they had an hour and a half long video with lots of action, maybe we could call it a musical, and my psyche would change his tune.
