Poll: Do the annoying automated voices at tech support hotlines get on your nerv!
Question: For example, the Alltel robot. It says, for customer assistance... Please press or say 1. I say 1. It says, "I'm sorry, I didn't get that." Then, you calmly say 1 again. It says the same thing. Then, you ask to talk to a representative, kindly. It says the same thing. I then, find myself yelling at the stupid robot, 'I WANT TO TALK TO A REPRESENTATIVE!!!"

I hate Fandango, the local movie theater in my town is Sehome (see-home) and it always asks me "Did you mean see-homie?", which reminds me of assinine hoodlums, and therefore makes me angry.
Also, at an old job I used to have to deal with an outsourced tech support company, and I never understood what the tech was trying to tell me to do, and I enevitably just screwed up the computer system more.
Yes, those are very annoying. Almost as annoying as the non-English speaking tech halfway across the world that you finally get to talk to after going through all that automated garbage.
It's a waste of minutes-try calling the Social Security hotline. Even worse.
