Yes I do he's nearly 18 and its never done him any harm being an only child. He was never spoilt though, well not to the extent that he became greedy, in fact he's turned out a very sensible, considerate and level headed young man. I have 1 brother and 1 sister myself but they never got on and never will so at least he missed out on sibling rows lol!!!

No,but I wish I was one!

I'm only 14 (15 in 3 days), so I don't have children... I'm not an only child, and when I grow up, I plan on having 4 kids.

No children here.

yes...just one son - thats how its staying for a few long years aswell !

no but my friend is one and she is pretty spoiled :P

no becuz i was an only child..and i would not do that to anyone else.

Yes I do but I wouldn't say that she's spoiled.

yep- 1 son of 10-and yeah he is spoilt!!xx

My only grandson is an only child. I don't think he is spoiled.

I am the only child.I get spoiled a lot

Yes, one teenage son. And yes, he is spoiled.

I am an only child was not a spoilt brat but if my mum could afford it I could have it. I have one child & he is a little spoilt but sometimes I say no if he asks for things as he does have a lot of toys & I love buying him things, I do spoil him with love & cuddles though!!! He is only 4yrs old & I am helping him understand the value of money by giving him pocket money & save towards something we wants. He also knows that I have to go to work for money to buy him things.
The other day he was asking for something & I had already spent £50 on lego a few days before so I said that I would have to work overtime if he wanted this other toy & that I would have less time to play with him, so I asked him what did he want more - the toy or time with me and good choice he said time with me!!!

I have a 3 year old son, I think I do spoil him because I am conscious that myself and my sister & brother didn't get that many treats when we were young so maybe I am trying to make up for that with him??? Don't want him to feel that he is missing out on stuff I suppose

I have only one daughter. Her father died when she was 6 months old and she is grown up now with a baby of her own. When she was younger, I didn't spoil her, as such, but perhaps over compensated a bit for her losing her dad. Financially,it was a struggle but I tried to buy her things that she liked when I could.

No 2 children and another on the way.
