What are the goods and bads of smoking marijuana?!

Question: Every intelligent being should already know this.

Most people will not use marijuana for medication, but instead will use it to get high, and thus it shall not be legal. Although it can be used for medical reasons, trade-offs are needed to be made for the better of people who aren't bright enough to conclude that marijuana should not be used to get high. Some drugs that are used for medical reasons right now are abused, but there are limits and those drugs aren't being abused enough to be a problem. Marijuana will be abused above the limits, more people will want to get high than people who will use it for medicine.

People who need it for medicine shouldn't blame the government for not legalizing marijuana. They need to grow up and blame the people who use it to get high, which is holding the government back from legalizing it. Don't blame other people for another has caused.

People are now using the "weed should be illegal for medical reasons" line so they can smoke it not for medical reasons but instead to get high. Therefore this shows how cold and low a person who smokes marijuana can be. Like all other drug addicts, it shows that they do not care for others but only to get high for themselves.

Marijuana is more addictive than cigarettes, yet people who smoked cigarettes cannot quit using it. What makes people think that the government should legalize a more addicting drug that will pose a great threat to society? Studies prove that using marijuana will eventually lead many people to use bigger and more addictive drugs. They will use more dangerous drugs after marijuana can no longer keep up with their expectations on getting high. What makes people think that the government should legalize what is known as the Gateway Drug?

Why smoking Marijuana is worse than cigarettes

Many people who smoke marijuana suffer loss of coordination and distortions in their sense of time, vision and hearing. Other effects are sleepiness, reddening of the eyes, increased appetite and relaxed muscles. Heart rate can speed up. In fact, in the first hour of smoking marijuana, a user's risk of a heart attack increases at least five-fold. School performance is reduced through impaired memory and lessened ability to solve problems.

Long-term use can cause psychotic symptoms. It can also damage the lungs and the heart, worsen the symptoms of bronchitis and cause coughing and wheezing. It may reduce the body's ability to fight lung infections and illness.

A person who will walk the streets and drive in these conditions will possess a threat to society. Hence marijuana shall not be legalized. Although alcohol causes similar affects, it is not as addictive like marijuana, and second hand smoking could pose a threat to people who does not smoke it. Most important of all, alcohol does not lead people to use more dangerous drugs.

there are only goods for those who can handle it. the bads are for people who can't deal with all the goods. and there are a lot of those people.

Vaporized (rather than smoked) there are no bads at all, regarding the tar and lung issues. No one has EVER overdosed from marijuana alone. As long as it is used, and not OVERused, peoples studying abilities, job performances, and creativity spring to life.

Marijuana aids the symptoms of chemotherapy, cancer, AIDS, anorexia, arthritis, ANGER, panic, PMS, menopause, menstrual discomfort, nervousness, pain from injuries, and so much more.

The only reason the government will not decriminalize the use of marijuana is because it would put the tobacco, alcohol and pharmaceutical industries pretty much out-of-business. Everyone knows that Big brother and big business are in bed together.
