but
i want to change it to a new color
for example - black-

It really depends on the color of your skin. If your skin is darker then black, if it's lighter then light brown, hope this helps you!

If you go black you'll have to match your brows (not easy). Also you could look too goth with the wrong skin tone. Do light brown...much easier.
