It depends on which method you used to make your payment and which bank. Also, if you pay on a Sunday, it might not post until Monday or Tuesday.
If you pay with a check, it will take longer. If you do it electronically, it might be instantaneous.
I have credit cards with different banks. You should call your bank, tell them how you paid, and ask them. They will be able to answer your question in detail.
If you paid before or on the due date, but it's taking longer to post, they might charge you a late fee. Explain to them nicely that you didn't know, and ask nicely for them to remove the late fee. If you are nice and go about it well, they will usually take the fee off.
