Whats the best way to communicate when you lose your voice?!
Question: im stumped! my job requires me to talk on the phone/radio and face to face with people- but i can barely get a word out. suggestions?

pretty much covers everything I have to say to my coworkers.
Write down what you say on a sheet of paper or use sign language.
Ive been thru this...someone else will have to do that part of it or stay home...sorry I lost a job from that in June. it stunk

well tell your boss that you can't talk on the phone and just use a note pad to talk to people face to face...

Well don't whisper, that's the worst thing you can do. If you can't get by on pencil and paper (and in your job you evidently can't) get a doctor's note and take some time off.

Dunno 'bout the radio and phone - not much to do other than croak out the words as best you can.
As for 'face to face' you can make a game out of it! Play charades! Practice the standard clues:
- fingers close together = small word
- fingers clenched in a fist = "I can't talk, you bozo"
- one finger extended pointing down the hall and to the right = "first office on the right"
- middle finger extended = "I invite you to do unnatural things with yourself"

get you one of those voicebox thingys that people who got their voiceboxes taken out and have to put it up to their throats.... rr.r.r..rr...r..
well, face to face wear a very low cut top, and they will be to busy looking ask you a question, as for phone and radio, they do have those programs you type the words and it speaks for you
