Poll: Do you give your mail carrier a holiday gift?!
Question: no eff that ahole
Answers: no eff that ahole
this year i will.
No, but I hear it is a custom in New York to give gifts to your door man and such? I don't know, maybe I will.
yes, this year i will be giving her a watch so she can make it to my house before 4:30.
Nope !
:)
I used to make him cookie or gift card.He wrote and left a Christmas card in my box saying 'no more'. I guess I won't be giving anything to my mail carrier anymore. by the way my family loves my cookies.
I never used to .. but now that I live in a house, I have gotten to know my mailman a little ... I live in a small-ish town so 4 -5 days a week, it is the SAME guy .... and we sometimes make small talk ....
So! Yes, I usually gift him a small token ... a box of chocolates, or cookies ... something like that!
:) Just to say THANKS! :)
nope.. they don't bring mail to me... I go and get it out of my post office box..
Yes, I leave him a note to come up to the house--we have a long driveway.
I give him a assortment of cookies and candy that I have made.
No, gifts are given in appreciation. I think the least he could do is put the mail in the correct box from time to time and not give me my neighbors' bills, maybe then a gift of some sort could be considered. There's a reason why if my folks are sending me anything I ask them to use FedEx instead of the USPS.
Yes this year I might shovel the walk for him. Even tho it makes me so happy to watch him hike over the drift and skid down my porch steps.
Yes, and my newspaper carrier...
Peace.
