I would recommend ignoring them...it's not worth your energy to worry about what ignorant negative people have to say to you. Some people are just mean spirited and you can't give them the satisfaction of getting your spirits down.

I used to have a lisp and in speech therapy I had to hold out my S's and I was dubbed "snake" by this big fat ugly girl with a bob cut.. gee, I wonder what her problem was lol.
You also have to pity them because they're shallow and will end up lonely because they hurt others.
ignoring them is actually the best way because most of the time they are just trying to get a response out of you and if you ignor them they eveentually will shut up

I think you should just ignore them because it is obvious that they do not know how hard it is to have a disability. For starters you should report their behavior to someone who has authority...if at school your teacher outside of school your parents. Don't ever let their words ever get you down, words are only words, they have very little value especially when they coming from idiots.
I am so sorry to hear this. My mother is hard-of-hearing and have been involved with several deaf schools and organizations. You may want to find out if there are deaf organizations in your area. If you are from California there is an organization called DCARA. There are seveal resources in the DC area. Within these organizations you can meet people who may be going through the same things you are going through.
For now ignore it. I know that this is difficult, but those people are immature. Hopefully as you get old, people will care less about your hearing aids and more about you.

Here in America, that kind of insulting

least not where a teacher would see it.
We have classes on all sorts of
disabilities and teach the other kids
what its like to have a disability.
If you must go to school with these
kids, just stay far away from them.

Your disability has lead to a new ability for you. I mean you have the chance to recognize dark-minded people from the good ones. In future you will have much more honest friends and this is valuable.
People with bad manner are ignorable and soon or late will face big troubles in their life. Tell me why should you think about them even for few seconds?!
