Question: we even have more vents upstairs.....its a mystery!

Answers: we even have more vents upstairs.....its a mystery!

who knows

maybe some of the vents are closed and you didnt notice

Is your roof insulated properly? And if you have chimneys, have you put those large inflatable plastic bags inside it, to stop heat loss further?

those vents probably run along the outside wall of your house. By the time the air goes all the way upstairs, it cools down.

if the heat is from your heaters in your house, the heat has to travel aroud downstairs, then travel up stairs.

Downstairs is closer to the heat source.

May be the heat absorb by the ground of the house is more than the roof. or may be the roof of your house is well made with a thick layer.

That can depend on several things. I'm a heating and A\C salesman for a company in Pa. Without seeing the house it sort of taking a stab in the dark. First how old is the home? 2. is there insulation in the attic. 3 What kind of heating system do you have in your home? You can email me direst with the answers. I have about 20 more questions

I live in a two story house, and the master bedroom upstairs is somewhat chilly. I like it though, makes for good sleeping.
But the bathroom is somewhat chilly also, so I got a couple of marvin 5460 space heaters. these are awesome heaters. Pump out 5100 btu's.

in my case, I think it has something to do with how far the heat has to travel to get to the upstairs.

You should come to mine, it's sweltering upstairs! :)
