I've been on disability and I wish I were working! Life isn't the same, but I'm doing my best.
Nope because I get up and get dressed to exercise first in the AM (4:30) before the "day" gets started and the kids are awake!
This makes you feel like you have a purpose and you've done something just for yourself!
Well, I work-at-home and my office is in the basement.... in the winter that concrete floor gets pretty cold barefooted. So I always get dressed before I hit the office.... sweatshirt, jeans, and shoes.
I think getting dressed (even if you don't have to) makes you "feel" more like you are at work, makes you work better etc.
My doorbell is broken. If you are knocking, come on in. It would be a waste of time to get dressed anyways!

No way...just because your a housewife doesn't mean you sit around in your pj's and eating bon bons all day. Think you may have the wrong ideal of woman in a whole not just as housewives or office professionals.
Only in the summer......
In the winter I walk the kids down to the road to meet the bus....
and that would be an obvious embarrassment to my boys....

I was a housewife for about a year before i went crazy. So i got a divorce and a new man (because i wasn't able to leave to house unless he said so).
So now I happily work at an office man its great!!! To have freedom!!! I get a break from my daughter and the house while making money. Don't get me wrong being a house wive in another situation it would have been better.

No, just a knock at the door, No doorbell. That has happened and it's quite embarrassing.
I'm blocking everyone who works from home, becuz i hate them
