i try not to. it has always been such a crazy temptation having read so many books and watched so many many that put the tradgic figures like van gogh, f. scott fitzgerald, and jesus on a pedestal. the latter i am not sure about. but when i was in school that starving, noble, idealistic "hero" was idealized. but for that always conflicting thought i would have cared less about the nature of my jobs and realized it was really just a living. that insight would have likely made me a rich man today and my family would have all done better. maybe. i wish the english lit teachers had never given me some of those books to read and admire the tortured writers like dostoevsky, nietsche, and the romantic poets. they should have a caution sign like a pack of cigarettes. kids are so impressionable. i sure was. it kinda makes me angry now. makes me want to blame someone. useless emotion today.
of course not!!! I abhor those things!! but I will bring attention to them by pointing and laughing!!!
