Need ideas for a homemade Christmas gift?!

make a collage of pics of you and your dad from through out the years and frame it. do some from when you were little til the age you are now. That will be someting he can cherish forever. I dont know how good you are with a computer but for my dads last birthday i did him up a slideshow on the computer of old and new pics of him with a memorable sing in the background that he loved. You could do they same for christmas, put pictures of him , your whole family , you and him or whatever you want. Burn it to a reguar type cd-r. Goodluck
Get a nice pic of the two of you and get a cheapie frame or make a frame on the computer.

Well, there is a nice thing to do with a mirror, you need a special solution to remove the backing and when it is gone you put a photo of you. then frame it. so you look at a oval mirror for example, remove a space of it and it will have lines like a sun ray, and the picture goes there and you get a nice frame. dad will love it. good luck, remember he is your dad and any gift he will treasure!!!!!
perhaps this is inspired by how cold it is today, but I'd say knit him a nise blanket or throw.
