it was a question on abortion (by a guy named adam) and he said something like, "abortion: kills FEOTUS, not children. the anti-abort crowd knows that right? there is a big gap between a feotus and a child...and being fair: it is the womans choice. what right do religious officials have to govern what women do with their bodies?"
and i said, "adam, is it? how biblical. and ironic. i realise in the end people who feel the way you do will believe what they want to believe in the end, but this is just something to consider; how would you feel if you knew that your mom didnt want you even before you were born? before she got to know you or hold you or even see you?
And by the way, for the sake of argument, a feotus is an undeveloped living being. to kill God's creation isnt a decision of a mother. Its like ripping up your passport. you do realise that ur passport belongs to the government? so you cant really decide to kill something that doesnt belong to you. a child may be raised by its parents but it doesnt mean the parents have the right to decided whether they should live or not. and further more if a woman doesnt want to get pregnant (for want of a better word) she should keep her bloody legs closed!"
