Someday my child (name) may remember you the way I recall my teacher,(your child's teachers name), and thank you for the contribution you made to his or her life. To be a child is to know the fun of living. To have a child is to know the beauty of life. To teach a child is to know the joy of giving. You teach a little by what you say. You teach the most by what you are!

just write thank you.

i thank my daughters teacher every day for not sending her home

Tell her whatever you feel, just make sure you spell everything correctly!

dear Ms/Mrs/Mr ________

thankyou for being such a great teacher

best wishes

______________

I just did this myself..... I told her thank you for being so wonderful... and that my daughter adores her.. and that we're both glad to have her as a teacher... :)

A simple "thanks for doing such a great job" would be enough. And, Happy Holidays, of course!

have your daughter help you, then she can have some fun with it and the teacher will think its cute.

Be specific. "Thank you for all the kind things you have done for Mary this year. She is a better reader and speller because of you. She loves being in your class and looks forward to coming to school. You have been a wonderful role model for her."

You get the idea.

Just thank her for all she has done for your child. I know from experience that the "thanks yous" from parents are priceless! I would thank her for choosing to be a teacher and taking time outside of school to prepare for the day. Of course, thank her for the book too.
I save letters and go back and read them when I feel like I should have picked another career or get upset with all the paperwork, etc.

Absolutely! It would be great to write a heart felt note expressing your gratitude that your daughter has such a wonderful teacher that really care about her students. Teachers need a pat on the back too and what better time than the holiday season. When my daughter was in daycare...I would write a card from her "Thank you for being such a great teacher...my mommy and daddy really appreciate..."etc..etc..Then I would have her do a hand print in the card. It meant so much to them. I remember one teacher actually cried she was so touched by the thought!

Write thank you.

You can write:

Dear ________,
Thank you for all your efforts this year with the students. My daughter has enjoyed your classes.

Best wishes *sign*

May my child become as
The same gratitude I have for you
IN THE MAGIC OF YOUR PERFORMANCE

Dear _______

nuttin' says thank you like a good bottle of ripple. make sure you wrap it in lots of newspaper before you pack it in your daughter's book bag.
