I went to an illegal Barn Rave once in High School and it got raided by the police. My friends and I had to run through a cornfield and forest to get away! LOL!

raves are just a huge party, and everyone tries to touch everyone else. drugs, booze, and loud music. if your into it, its a great time. if not....stay home, because you'll be miserable. make sure to have a "baby sitter," someone who stays sober to make sure no one your with gets into trouble. have fun!

In the late 90s, when they were all brand-new and stuff, yes. I'm sure they haven't changed much since. The kids still do E.
Oh and despite what you're hearing from the multitude of (I'm guessing) teenage hopefuls posting here, it's not as amazingly fun as you might guess. You'll feel like s--t for a week. And date rape drugs are sooooo easy to slip into drinks, you'd never know-- and I'm guessing your parents will have no idea where you are.
If you want to be surrounded by a bunch of sweaty teens hopped up on ecstasy and special K waving glow sticks, then... have fun.

never been and not interested. raves get raided all the time because of drugs and sex, etc. i'd rather not go down for stuff other people are doing. u could be raped in the main room and nobody even notices.
Never been to a rave, but a friend I have has permanent brain damage because of that lifestyle. Be sure to take a boatload of X.
