Are you the person that thinks first before you speak? why?!

Question: Yes, the way in which you phrase what your trying to say is important. Sometimes you can try and give a compliment or come across friendly and it may be perceived by someone else in another way.

Personally i always try and asses the way in which the person I'm talking to perceives things before i go into a more open conversation with them.

That's not to say I'm not afraid to say honestly whats on my mind if i disagree or have a point to make but I know how to phrase it so the persons more likely to understand.

can i think about this and then get back to you.

yes, because you don't want to say something you will regret, once it comes out of your mouth you can't take it back.

I'm more of those impulsive people that think with their heart, not with their head. For many instances, I have been saying the wrong things, only to regret it. Like losing a friend over this.

not often enough

generally, yes

No, my mouth seems to be separate from my brain, and answers before i think about things, a very bad habit i wish i could break.

It entirely depends on what I'm speaking about. If the discussion is complex or an opposer in a debate has a well composed argument, then absolutely; but when the issue is something that is second nature to me like, "Are you gay?" (NO!) then I would not have to think twice about the answer. I always think about how I speak and how some things are worded because I don't want to offend anyone unless that is my intention. The only way I regret what comes out of my mouth is when I failed to think CORRECTLY before speaking and consequences ensue.

Well the conversation only needs one idiot and I prefer it to be the other guy!

Yeah, definetly. Say what you mean, and mean what you say. The way we speak and how it sounds gives away a lot about your character, choose your words carefully.

We've all said the wrong thing at times, you know, like when you put your foot in it and whish the ground would open up and swallow you. I try to avoid this as much as possible. lol
