As a rule, men are taught to not reveal weakness. As a rational, emotional being, there is little reason for this besides macho bravado. But I do think it's also a survival instinct because weaknesses can be used against you - either by a "sweetheart" or by a rival.

Maybe for some, but not my 'Guy'. He trusts me implicitly so he's not ashamed to show me his all, his flaws and his weaknesses. He's also not afraid to cry in front of me either. What's the point of being together if you're not comfortable to show your true self to the one you love?
