Yes, men are less chivalrous now and it does matter.
The rules of dating have definitely changed. It's harder to find a wide pool of guys who still open doors and such.
I'm concerned for the future generations. Will most boys become selfish, heartless men in a less chivalrous society?

I think that some older men are more chivlrous, and some younger guys too i guess. But for the most part the chivalrous man is becoming more extinct. I think that respect is what matters to me personally.
I'd say less.....but it doesn't really make a difference because I don't like to be treated like an invalid who can't open her own doors....but then again sometimes it's nice to have a man treat you with such respect and regard.

Some losers are but if you date the right ones and don't just go for looks some still are. My husband is the most chivalrous man I know ( but I must say is still gorgeous!)
Note: Having a man act chivalrous doesn't have to mean treating you like an unequal!
But like Honey said it could be the age gap between the people answering the questions. Young guys take a LONG time to figure out what matters!
I believe that the men my age are still chivalrous. The younger guys haven't learn this yet. Love, honey
