Well it would affect them if you tell them that they look funny. They can sense things like that. Kids are not supposed to be tall. How old are they?

awh they sound cute. dont worry from what I have found kids like kids if they are nice. I teach and I like the funny kids best they all become cute if they treat me nice

As far as I know, little kids are supposed to be short. If they don’t grow to be normal height you could always say that they’re adopted.
