I Am Ledgend (good movie!) but I have just one question!?!

Question: Isn't it weird that they(the infected humans) were getting smarter? I mean if you think about the way Sam was studying them, he said that they lost their ability for higher thinking and are now like animals/creatures with basic insticts-for survival, eat sleep find shelter maybe.

But they(the creatures set up the trap like Sam did, and they followed him home and come back later and have a PLANNED attack?. Those aren't your basic instincts. You wouldn't see a wolf or lion set up a human trap or follow you home and wait for a good time to attack. They would just attack.

What are your comments about this?

In the book they are supposed to be vampires, but they came off as kind of like a zombie/vampire hybrid in the movie.

I agree that that part was confusing a bit. But remember that the lead creature witnessed how the trap worked. In fact, Will's character kinda stole the creature's woman, so i actually think it was all about revenge and not so much thirst for killing. I do think that they have sub-human intelligence, but they still have the human capacity for learning, so they can pick things up quick. It would be interesting to see if they developed a (night-time) culture and structured civilization in the future.

I'd also like to note that it was really kinda interesting how Will's character had set up the mannequins around NY. I first thought he was going razy. but now that i have thought it through, it was really smart. It was kind of a method to learn where the creatures had been. An alarm if you will. Which really is quite smart. Otherwise, why do you think he shot the one that was set as a trap? Why waste the ammo? He knew something was really wrong there and was trying to check for traps by shooting (aka moving) it.

Oh and I'd also like to note that the dog's name was Sam (for Samantha), not Will's character. But I cant remember his character's name. I just know it wasn't the same. I want to say it was John or Robert.

DUNNO. HAVENT SEEN IT.

I really liked the movie!!!

I very much agree with you. But it's kind of strange how they didn't really mention that in the movie. When Robert (I think that's the name you wanted to use?) was hung by the trap, he didn't seem that surprised that they did that.

Good movie though!!!!
