after attending 2 recent funerals of close family members, my 4 year old came to me with tears in his eyes and asked me "Mommy, when are you going to die?" It broke my heart!
My child can ask any questions he wants, and I will answer them honestly.

lol, my little sister's 4, and she keeps asking me where baby's are from. I don't know why she asks me, i tell her to ask mum or dad but she says "no! just tell me please!"
If i ever did drugs. My 7 year old son asked me this because he is in the DARE progaram at school and i was talking to him abt all the different drugs out there and explaining to him why i am so involved in his education and try to be a proactive parent this reduces his chances of hanging with the wrong crowd. well i dont lie to my son and i feel he is too young to understand if i told him so i will wate till he is in jr high or hs so nothing gets misconstrued.
my son knows alot for his age we discussed sexuality and he knows abt homosexuality he saw two men hokding hands on the lv strip and he asked me we discussed it all that wasnt hard i just never want him to ask me again if i ever used drugs because i told tim they will kill you and they will but he being so young he will get confused cause im still alive so its best not to tell him this part of my life yet!
i was only 14 when i used them and i know that had my mom ben able to be more involved in my childhood i wouldnt of been so bored and hang with the wrong people.
There isnt anything that i can think of , If my children ask me anything i will answer them as best i can in a way thats is best for their age and understanding. I believe in always being honest with them, its life they have to be prepared and able to cope with things, its coping that make us stronger.

If/when I ever have kids, I'll let them ask me anything, but one thing that would tear me apart to hear would be anything about why people hate other people for various sexuality, race, or religious reasons.
