I always like to see how my family react to the presents I have bought for them....I usually get a positive reaction....but that is because I usually buy things from the lists they have given me. Apart from my elder brother, who is harder to get hold of to ask what he wants, I rarely buy total surprises for people.
Oh yeah....then I know that the time and effort I took to pick the gifts out was all worth it. Making people smile is one of my favorite activities....and it makes me feel good as well.
No because even to give them presents i have to face them so if they can make me feel anxious i buy for them presents to face them when taking those presents to them.
