A Beautiful Life, It was in italian with subtitles, they have it translated in english though, it was such a sad movie, has to do with nazi/hitler era. Really good movie... simply touching.

there are lots yeah the notebook is really sad i always cry my eyes out and city of angles that makes me cry everytime too.

Titanic, Lion King and Romeo and Juliet i cried at all of them when i watched them for the first time, as they are all sad films, to do with death and the destruction of families.

I hate to repeat what others have already said, but, The Notebook gets my vote too.

Terms of Endearment~I could imagine nothing worse than dying and leaving my kids....another heart-wrenching one was Steel Magnolias. Merry Christmas!! :)
