I ask the kind of questions that reveal things about a persons character or personality. It helps me to choose contacts and make friends with people that make me smile. I've met (on-line only) some great people that way. I even talk to a few on the phone.
It's not about the points or level you get to. It's about meeting new and exciting people.

Usually because I want answers.
I ask questions on Y!A because that's what you do.
Because I want answers. So 2, I guess.
To get answers to stuff I need to know.
They ask for all of the above reasons.
to see who has a good sense of humor...

cuz I feel I need to contribute to the question board instead of making everybody else spend 5 points for every question they ask just to keep the board moving.
