Because it is illegal to discriminate against somebody on the grounds of sex. If you posted a question for white people only then your question would be removed as being racist.

Maybe we men are curious, maybe we can help, like the last question I answered. Why be so exclusive? The gulf between men and women is not what it used to be.

I do the same when a Guy asks question for Guys only.
It happens. I guess they want to know what all the excitement is about?? Who can tell??
a million reasons:
1) guys don't care about women- they're just answering for the points.
2) when i asked for an opinion on a poem i wanted to submit in a competition, a guy said that he thought it woulod be something to take the mick out of. basically, they probably want to take the mick out of something.
3)they're trying to be funny.
they just can't help adding their opinions. i think it is funny, but women do the same on men only questions so tit for tat.
