Quite. I'm not perfect, but seriously, even if my headphones are on, if I have the music low enough, I can still hear well. I have bionic ears, and my mom always reminds me of that!

Nahh it really depends on the situation, like if i am preocupied with a worry/thought whatever, i might only be half listening but i usually do try and listen attentily and try to help
