Time is an enigma. Man's own invention to put deadlines on everything he/she does
I do not believe that there could ever be a world where some sort of time didn't exist. I think that if there wasn't actual tangible time, then people would just use the sun as their guide. So yes, people could still be late, it just wouldn't be as stringent.

i know what you mean,its weird how its evolved,where i minute off and you could be fired,miss the bus,store is closed,etc.
we never INVENTED time. time is a natural occurence. the sun will always set, and the sun will always rise, that is all the time you need
i dont think it differs coz the sun would exist for ever and with its rays we would have estimated we r late or early
would have just went by the sun like we did before, would be interesting to see where we would be with out time
