A good fruitcake is very good but has an acquired taste, much like a fine scotch or brandy. Good ones are expensive, about $40 a pound and, like scotch, the cheap ones are usually pretty bad.
Love fruitcake, but can't eat too much because I gain weight from all the good calories. What the heck, send me some.
