Question: Yes, and I often leave the price tag on if it is clothes that may not be the right size, or color. Also electronic gifts. This is helpful for returning and exchanging.
Most things you give to people we have a good idea of how much it cost anyway or we got the item on sale so I don't worry what they think of the price. (sounds too commercial???) but I would rather the recipient be happy with the gift.
It really isn't about the price, high or low it's about the spirit of giving. And being gracious about receiving.
