i have only received a couple things.
but, i will be at the store returning a silver chain necklace that i would never wear for 35$, mostly because i need the cash to buy a new phone. mine broke in two :( tears fllow

Nothing, I don't return items, the only time I return something is if something doesn't work.
"Everybody does it"? Well, what do you know? I guess I'm not this so-called "everybody" because I don't return gifts.
The only gifts I return are clothes that don't fit, stuff I already have, or things that don't work.
Otherwise, I just re-gift the ones that I don't like but know someone else would.
Fortunately, I received nothing this year that I would like to return or re-gift.
