Answers: Absolutely. Alcohol was illegal, not unattainable!

God no...

Future Mrs. Dave, don't speak of a second Prohibition...that is just flat out EVIL!!!!

hellllllllllll no

if i couldve figured out how to make my own, yes!

Yep - I don't drink, never had. I would not be opposed to prohibition again.

I know my dad wouldn't survive. He loves to drink.

I mostly drink water so unless that were prohibited then yes, I could easily.

moonshine

Sure,but I would have been a bootlegger.

lets see, jazz was in its heyday, booze was available to anyone because the law was an absolute joke, gangsters ran dance halls, and i'm a musician,.....yeah-ithink i would have done well enough!

sure.

Yeah by buddy has a still lol I could make it!

As long as I had drugs, I could get by.

NO...hell I am drinking right now

Quite possibly, yes.

There's no reason why I couldn't do without alcohol for a spell.

Even so, as someone else said; it was illegal, not unattainable.

Yep...I'd have made good money off the bootleggin'!

Quite easily. I do not drink.

no way

I would have made my own or substituted it with something else

Yeah, I'm only a boat trip across the lake from Canada.

Sure, lots of people did. Ever hear of "bootleg", "moonshine", or "speakeasys"? It still goes on today, only with illegal drugs. Not that I condone it, but where there's a will, there's always a way.

No, they probable would've burn me to ashes like a witch.
