i was thinking about that the other day...all this kindness is almost fake (or pointless) because ppl only expressed once a year, and when xmas is over...its like...they are back to their rude behavior (the real them)

It's not difficult. But people are in too much of a hurry and say they're too busy to be kind. A kind word or a smile might make someone's day.

I have no problem being nice at any time. More times than not I get misunderstood but I've learned over the years to not let small things bother me and I just look to see if there is someone else I can help.

If you have it in you then there is no need to be nice at specific times. Why be mean and nasty to people all year long and then switch at Christmas? You think they'll buy that?
