Do you let people walk on you or stand up for yourself?!

Question: Sadly, I let people walk on me. It's horrible, but I rather stop the fighting as soon as possible, rather than saying my behalf and causing more commosion.

I think you can stand up for yourself and avoid exacerbating commotion... I used to be accused of trying to please too many people at the same time... but I would NOT let anyone walk all over me... except maybe a Geisha girl.
