Who here hates Slipknot's music?!
Question: someone told me i should listen to Slipknot, so i went on myspace and saw their music, and i thought it was the most disgusting thing in the world! it makes me want to gag!!!!

I thought it was one of those screaming bands that scare my mom but when I went on the site and I heard the fourth song I recognized it and love that song!!

I don't like it either...but my friends Uncle is in it. And so is my teachers brother. And my other friends dad. They are from my town. (Desmoines Iowa) But I hate their music.

I love Slipknot! I've been listening to them forever!! They aren't the best band in the world and a lot of people hate them, but they are worth something.

My son is a big Slipknot fan.
It borders on random noise as as far as I'm concerned.
I like some of their stuff, they have some pretty cool acoustic tracks (like Vermillion 2.0) that you should definitely check out. I'm not a fan of that whole screamo metal vocal thing, but their acoustic stuff is pretty cool .
I know a lot of people do not agree with the music Slipknot puts on their records.
Here's a couple of points to ponder:
1. They are, in fact, very talented musicians, however slim the demographic they are trying to reach is.
2. I'm not coming on here saying, "your taste is horrible slipknot is the best evar 1!!!!1!!!!" What I will say, is that you may have a different thought process about them if you listened to a couple more.

All of Slipknot's songs have meaning, which is why I like them. I completely understand if it's too hardcore for ya, but if you're looking for a band a little less hardcore, I suggest Nonpoint, or try Since October.
